One of the most amazing things one can find while traveling across the desert here are the water cisterns. As there are little rains - few tens of mm (or few inches) a year - the ancient inhabitants of the area learned to collect rain water to support their life in the desert.

Entering inside what once was the water reservoir of the desert people.
Although they are all around - they are very easy to miss. In fact, at the surface, one can see just a round hole in the ground. A more experienced eye will also see the little water canals leading to it and the white pile of what used to be the chalk stone that was dag out.
